Updates of import / export statistics on Email or CD-R. Data
pertaining to a month will, under normal circumstances, be sent in the
last week of the following month.

COVERAGE:
Our
data is drawn from : (i) the Air & Sea Customs of Bombay (ii) the
Sea Customs of Nhava Sheva (JNPT) (iii) the Air & Sea Customs of
Madras (iv) the Air & Sea Customs of Calcutta/Haldia (v) the Air
& Sea Customs of Cochin (vi) the Air & Sea Customs of
Visakhapatnam (vii) the Sea Customs of
Mangalore (viii) the ICD at Tughlakabad, Delhi (ix) the Air
Customs of Bangalore and (x) the ICD at Bangalore.
Coverage of JNPT seaport and Bombay airport data is with effect
from April 2003, ICD Tughlakabad wef April 2004 and Bangalore Air and
Bangalore ICD wef January 2006. Data on other ports like Kandla,
Tuticorin, Hazira, Paradip, etc is currently NOT available.

data will cover the following details for each consignment ( import
and/or export, as applicable to your requirement )

THE CASE OF IMPORTS:
(i) The date or month of import clearance
(ii) Brief product description (iii) Source Country (iv) Port of
Landing in India (v)
Quantity (vi) Value of Import as assessed by the customs (vii) Average
unit price.
IN
THE CASE OF EXPORTS:
(i) The date or month of export
sailing (ii) Brief product description (iii) Destination Country (iv)
Port of Loading in India (v) Quantity (vi) Value of Export (vii)
Average unit price.
Kindly
Note: Names of Indian
importers / exporters will NOT appear in the trade statistics following
the issue of Customs Notification No: 128/2004 -Customs(NT) dated
19/11/04 by Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.This is for your
kind information. Names of overseas suppliers and customers are NOT
available in our database.
We
can compile a monthly report based on this raw database collected by us
from different ports as mentioned above, refine it into an easily
readable and usable format, with added inputs like dollar equivalent
prices for each entry relevant to the month of import/ export.
